On October 29 the FDA granted Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for the Pfizer vaccine for children ages 5-11 years old. The CDC approved this on November 2 and we have begun scheduling appointments at our office. All the doctors at Foster City Pediatrics strongly recommend vaccinating children 5 years and up as it is the best way to overcome this pandemic.
