Dr. Jahan retires

Below is a letter from Dr. Valerie Jahan regarding her retirement on June 25, 2020.  We wish her all the best.

Dear Patients and Parents,

It is with mixed emotion that I am writing to let you know that after almost thirty years of practice, I will be retiring at the end of June, 2020.  I have very much enjoyed caring for you and your families over the years. I will cherish the memories, drawings,  jokes and stories that we have shared. Thank you for your loyalty and confidence in allowing me to care for your family. I have thoroughly enjoyed it.

Although I will be retiring, I am excited to announce that Dr. Bennett Smith will be joining Foster City Pediatrics in August.  Please see his bio in our “Meet Us” section.  Dr. Smith graduated from the University of Michigan, followed by medical school at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science – Chicago Medical School. He finished his pediatric training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, in Cleveland, OH.

While Dr. Smith will be available to care for you and your children, if you prefer you may select any of the physicians at Foster City Pediatrics to be your primary care provider.

Foster City Pediatrics will continue to provide excellent care for your medical needs.

Thank you for the privilege to serve as your pediatrician and help you become the best parents you can be.

Sincerely,

Valerie Jahan, M.D.

Dr Jahan
